Junk King Partners with the American Heart Association to Raise Awareness for Heart Health
February is American Heart Month and Junk King will be raising awareness and donations through peoples' love – and their heartaches.
As a way to heal those who are heartbroken on Valentine’s Day, we’re inviting everyone to drop off any and all items from exes.
You are able to drop off two items of your choice, and for each item Junk King will donate $1 to the American Heart Association. All the items collected will be further donated to charity or recycled.
When you stop by to drop off your ex's "junk", take a photo of your donation and share it with us on social by tagging @JunkKingFranchise and your local Junk King on Facebook along with the hashtag #JKDumpTruck to let everyone know you’re on to a bigger and better love story.
Don’t worry lovebirds – we haven’t forgotten about you! We’re also celebrating those of you who have been lucky enough to find your true love. Couples who are in love can share a photo of themselves on Facebook using the hashtag #JKLovestruck, tagging your local Junk King as well as @JunkKingFranchise and sharing what you love about your partner.
For every Lovestruck submission (one per couple) from February 1 to February 14, Junk King will donate $1 to the American Heart Association. Our favorite submission will also receive a free dumpster rental for those who have found that special someone they’re excited about decluttering with.
