The most recent snowstorm put Atlanta in the news and not in a good way. While most of the east coast was digging out from several feet of snow, Atlanta had the distinction of being the city where around 2,000 cars were abandoned along the freeways as the snow piled up. The Governor had to admit that, “We did not make preparations early enough.” The first problem was all the gridlock that occurred when folks rushed home as the first snowflakes began to fall. En route, some cars were stuck, others ran out of gas and others just slid off the road. Let’s face it; this was an epic fail that folks will be talking about for some time and spring is still weeks away!
