Fireworks on the 4th of July are a shared experienced that happens all across the country. Whether you’re watching from a stadium, a riverfront, a park or your own backyard these displays are always thrilling. Here in Dallas, there is no shortage of places to view fireworks. Here are the best:
Kaboom Town at Addison Circle Park
This fireworks extravaganza has constantly been rated as one of the best in the country. That’s high praise. Addison Circle Park is ground-zero for the display and they open their gates at 4 pm but not on the 4th. These fireworks go off on the 3rd. That means you can watch the fireworks here and then see another show the next night.
Texas Rangers Post-Game
Taking in a baseball game on the 4th is an awesome way to spend the day. You also can get your fill of hot dogs. This year, the Rangers are playing on the 3rd and the 4th and there are fireworks both nights after the game. That’s an awesome double-header.
Fair Park Fourth
The fun starts at noon on the Fair Park Midway. At 3, the activities in the park include games, water fun and a zipline. There will also be concession stands set up about the Cotton Bowl all day along with live music. Just at night falls and the kids get tuckered out, the fireworks will go off. If you can’t make it out to Fair Park, then you can watch the show on Channel 8.
No doubt any one of these shows will be crowded. That might dissuade you from venturing out. Instead, you could have a fun time in your own backyard. You might even be able to see some of the displays in the distance. If you opt for a home party, then you’ll want to hire Junk King Dallas Mid Cities this week.
