Fort Lauderdale was recently named in USA Today’s “10 Best Fourth of July Fireworks Around The USA.” That is high praise indeed and it has set the bar high for another spectacular holiday celebration. The event kicks off at 12:30 and includes a DJ, live music, face painting, beach games and plenty of food vendors. There will also be a hot dog and apple pie eating contest. As for the fireworks themselves, they’ll blast off at 9 pm over the water. That makes any spot on the beach as the perfect spot for watching the fireworks!
