Sonoma Dirt Removal and Hauling

sonoma dirt removalJust because the weather has turned a little bit chilly doesn’t mean you need to give up on your landscaping until spring. This might be the perfect time of year to get your soil prepped and ready for spring planting. You might want to take on a project of planting hedgerows. That will certainly require some digging and displacement of dirt. The same can be said if you want to put in a new deck or patio. Instead of worrying about what to do with the excess dirt, call Junk King Sonoma; they’ll know how to handle the dirt removal job.

Although “junk” is in their title, many homeowners have discovered that Junk King is the perfect partner for clearing out yards. Often a good yard makeover involves a lot of pruning of trees and shrubs. There is a limit with how much the city will pick up in your weekly garbage haul but there is no limit when you hire Junk King. They will be showing up with a big truck that you can fill to the rafters with whatever you’re throwing out. That includes dirt, sod, branches and leaves.

Sometimes, our yards become a storage pile. It’s easy to stack up lumber or leftover remodeling waste out by the garage. If you can’t see it, then it is not a bother. However, the longer things like that stay outside, the harder it will be to eventually clean them up. This is another job for Junk King. Their crews always come equipped with the right tools and bins to transport all of your debris.

Beyond the dirt removal, Junk King can also clear out whatever else you want to get rid of all in the same trip. Next to your garden waste can go your old TV or couch. The bag of leaves will fit alongside the old washer and dryer. What about all your e-waste? Things like desktop computers, laptops, cell phones, and printers. None of those items should be put into the trash. Instead, turn them over to Junk King. They’ll make sure they are dropped off at the proper recycling center.

When the job is complete, the Junk King crew has one last task to perform: They’re going to sweep the entire area. It is this attention to detail that so many customers have appreciated. When you’re ready to work in your garden or clean your garage, put Junk King Sonoma on stand-by. They’ll be happy to spring into action when you need them the most!

Alternatives to a Sonoma County Dumpster Rental

Sonoma County Dumpster RentalsIt’s always fun to read the Sonoma County sheriff’s blotter. This is a daily update of calls into the sheriff’s office. Some of these reports sound like they come from the classic “angry neighbor.”

“At 7:48 a.m. Monday Nov. 11, a caller told deputies about a mechanical disturbance in the 29200 block of Sonoma Way. The informant stated the house directly behind hers was undergoing noisy construction. The caller said the workers were breaking city code because Monday was Veteran’s Day – a federal holiday.”

Technically, just because it is a federal holiday doesn’t mean all work should stop. That neighbor was probably just bothered because she had to be home when the work was going on. Then there are the kinds of stories that make you glad you weren’t a witness to:

“At 2:05 p.m. Sunday Nov. 10, someone reported a suspicious person in the 3170 block of Camino Capistrano. A man with no pants was walking by the local Starbucks.”

There are other updates that beg for more explanation:

“At 7:44 p.m. Sunday Nov. 10, a caller reported a group of trespassers in the 33700 block of Camino Capistrano. The informant claimed a group of people was inside a dumpster behind the local Residence Inn, which was making patrons uncomfortable.”

A “group of people” inside a dumpster? You really want to know what a group of people were doing in that dumpster. Of course, this is also a perfect reminder of why having a dumpster on your property is so potentially dangerous: It’s going to attract all kinds of undesirable elements. Sadly, when you rent a dumpster you’ll have to keep it for a few days. It doesn’t make business sense for them to drop off and pick up in the same day. Can you guarantee that the dumpster won’t pull in someone who is looking to do a little “diving” on their own?

You can avoid that temptation by avoiding the dumpster. Instead, call Junk King in Sonoma County to get rid of all your unwanted stuff. One call to Junk King will have a two man crew coming over to your property to pick up and load whatever you’re throwing out. That means that unlike with the dumpster rental, you won’t be doing any backbreaking lifting with Junk King. Best of all, your junk will be gone in a flash. This is really the most sensible and affordable way to clear out the clutter from your home. Forget the dumpster. Put Junk King on the job!
