“I wanted to buy into something that was a proven model and could also do some good in the community,” says Melissa Michel, co-owner of Junk King Boca Raton, which opened earlier this year. “Junk King met both of that criteria and the rest is history. I’m all about recycling, and Junk King encourages us to recycle and donate to charities like Habitat for Humanity. We are trying to take the least amount of trash to the landfill.”
