When the snow starts falling in Dayton, it’s easy to see what has to be dealt with. The first priority is clearing the roads and sidewalks so people can start getting around again. Then it’s making sure trees aren’t weighed down with ice. If that happens, then those branches can topple down pulling power lines with them. What can’t always be seen in a fierce winter storm is damage to water pipes. Certain pipes can freeze and crack. Then when the water melts, it begins to leak. The storms that passed through in December caused upwards of a million dollars in damage to Toledo alone. Here in Dayton, pipes burst in 30 buildings around the nearby Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. All of that flooding leads to water damage which has to be cleaned up ASAP. That’s a perfect job for Junk King.
