Keith Rafferty and Melissa Michel have been in the Junk King family since 2020 when they became the owners of Junk King Boca Raton. After seeing rapid success, the two partners have brought Junk King to Fort Lauderdale with the goal of providing excellent customer service to residents in the area.

“It’s been amazing to see the impact of Junk King in Boca Raton, so we can’t wait to help even more people in Fort Lauderdale,” said Keith. “Our commitment to the community still remains the most important thing to us. Providing a service that takes care of them while also taking care of the environment is our biggest passion,” added Melissa.

With 30 years of experience in a family-run scrap metal business, Keith is an expert in building businesses and knows the value of hard work and determination. He is managing daily operations alongside Melissa Michel, a U.S. Army veteran who became an event and production planner. Her detail-oriented mindset and organization skills allow her to build teams of professionals who provide top-tier customer service. Keith and Melissa’s combined experience make them an excellent team in the Junk King family.
