Do you have plans for November 19th? If not, mark down the date! November 19, 2022, is the Maple Grove Home Show at the Maple Grove Community Center. The event is scheduled to open at ten am and run until four that afternoon. Junk King Minneapolis will have a booth, and we would love to meet you! We’re also hosting a raffle in which one lucky winner will receive a Full-Service Half Truck Junk Removal Service! This is a $498 value that you don’t want to miss!
This is a free event, and you don’t need to request tickets. Simply drop by the community center anytime between ten and four. Parking is free, too! In addition to Junk King, you’ll find a number of other companies in attendance. If you’ve never attended one of these events before, here’s a little bit about the Maple Grove Home Show and why you might enjoy attending this year.
What Does the Home Show Focus On?
The Maple Grove Home Show is all about your home. You’ll find companies that specialize in home remodeling, landscaping, windows, decking, and much more. Since we handle DIY construction debris removal, many people who are considering doing some renovations want to know more about how Junk King can help them. In total, the show has over 100 home improvement-related companies and experts that can help you with any renovation project.
There are three exhibition rooms you can make your way through the banquet hall, the commons area, and the downstairs exhibit hall. You’ll want to be sure to visit all three to meet all of the different exhibitors and collect information on how each can help you with various home renovation projects.
Free Seminars
Want to learn a little more about various remodeling projects? The Home Show has invited certain experts to give free seminars throughout the day. The schedule isn’t available yet, but you’ll certainly want to visit the Home Show’s website before the event to see the seminar topics before you attend. These seminars will focus on everything from remodeling a few rooms to creating a backyard oasis and other projects.
Get There Early!
If the seminars you want to attend aren’t until the afternoon, you may decide you don’t need to get to the show too early. There is a very good reason to come when the doors open, though: free goodie bags! The first 100 people will get these bags. They will include some promotional items from exhibitors, discount vouchers, and much more. You don’t want to miss out, plus getting there early will give you time to browse through all three exhibitor halls before you head to the seminars.
Win Prizes
You’ll also want to be sure to register for the $500 Home Depot shopping spree. You have to be present to register, and the winner will be announced before the show is over. Five hundred dollars would be a great addition to the budget of your next home remodel project.
You can also play Booth Bingo. Pick up your card when you arrive and have it stamped at various booths. Completed cards can be entered into a drawing to win a new Yeti cooler. Like the grab bags, there are only a limited number of bingo cards available, so be sure to get there early to get one.
In addition to these two large prizes, there are also many other smaller prizes that will be given away throughout the day, so be sure to sign up for those, too.
Who Should Attend?
If you’re interested in home remodel projects, the Maple Grove Home Show is the perfect place to learn more about DIY and professional renovations. Even if you’re not planning on doing a remodel anytime soon, if you think it’s something you might be interested in, come and learn a little more. In addition to our booth focusing on junk removal, you’ll find other exhibitors that are focused on specific areas. You don’t have to be interested in DIY remodels. You’ll find booths that focus on landscaping, renewable energy, financing, home accessories, and even related areas such as chiropractic services and wellness.
At the end of the day, the Home Show is free to attend, so even if you only have a couple hours free on November 19, you can drop by and pick up some information about the projects that you’re interested in. You don’t need any DIY experience or have any specific home project in mind. Exhibitors will be glad to talk to everyone from beginners to those who have successfully completed dozens of renovations.
