Jason Edge, owner of Junk King Portland, started his recycling career early in life when he drove with his mother 10 miles from their rural Pennsylvania home to drop off their junk items at a recycling center. Nowadays he still recycles but he hauls the recyclables in a big red truck.

Jason spent time looking for just the right business to open in the Portland Metro area. Opportunities were there but he was looking for a company that shared his values and had similar goals. He didn’t want to affiliate himself with a huge company. He wanted to join one that cared about their people. He was also looking for a company that believed in recycling and donating portions of the business to the community. He wanted to have a positive impact on the community in which he lived. He found that with Junk King. Jason now has a Portland Junk Removal business that helps others and is a service that was needed.
