Junk King Tampa is owned by David Eby. Like many other Junk King owners, David wanted to own and operate his own business. After spending 33 years in the retail automotive industry, David thought it was time to do something else. Ten years ago, he started looking for a business that fit his customer service background. The recession hit so he put the search on hold. In January of 2015, he restarted his search and saw Junk King was looking for a franchise partner in the Tampa area. After researching the company and talking with a corporate officer, he felt comfortable with the business. With the tremendous franchise territory available in Tampa extending to his hometown of Lakeland and the prospects for growth, he decided to take the plunge. He opened his business in October of 2015.
Junk King Tampa is a full service junk removal business. David says, “we take everything from a single item pickup to a large property clean out. He services residential customers with items like furniture, mattresses, televisions, refrigerator/freezers, construction waste, e-waste, and trash removal. He helps commercial clients with removal of construction debris, foreclosures, and property cleanouts. He says, “we do the job quickly and safely with a courteous and professional staff. David is most proud of their ability to recycle, reuse, and re-purpose the junk they haul. In fact, he states that his office is totally furnished with recycled office equipment. The only thing he bought was his computer.
