1. Supporting Families Through Community Drives

Each holiday season, our HAULidays campaign transforms Junk King trucks into donation drop spots for new, unopened toys. In partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and Canada, Junk King franchisees place branded toy collection bins in high-traffic local businesses to encourage community participation.

All donations are distributed by nearby Boys & Girls Clubs to families in need, helping brighten the holidays for children in their own neighborhoods. It’s one more way our teams give back to the communities they live and work in.

2. Making Earth Day Count

Junk King doesn’t wait until Earth Day to care about sustainability, but we do use the day as a moment to go even further. Many of our locations host free drop-off events for appliances or electronics, giving customers a responsible way to recycle tricky items. Plus, through our partnership with One Tree Planted, we’ve planted thousands of trees in honor of the jobs booked that week, helping grow a greener future.

3. Everyday Eco-Friendly Practices

Through Junk King Cincinnati’s partnership with CarePortal, the team can meet urgent needs posted by child welfare professionals in their local areas, from delivering furniture to helping families in crisis. The connection allows our teams to directly assist those who need it most.

As Junk King Cincinnati CEO and Co-owner Jack Brendamour said, “It just made sense. When they reach out with a need that’s been difficult to fulfill, we prioritize it. We spend extra money and make the extra effort because we believe good people will support businesses that do good.”

5. Uplifting Veterans and Military Families

Junk King is proud to support veterans and military families, both as customers and as part of our franchise system. One example: Marnie Price, owner of Junk King Tucson, recently teamed up with Military Makeover to help transform the home of a deserving veteran, lending her crew to handle the cleanup and hauling with care.
