The Great Lakes are getting a much-needed infusion of cleanup cash. That is thanks to the new spending bill just passed by Congress. Yes, Congress actually got something right! The Great Lakes Restoration Initiative will now have $300 million to spend on cleaning up toxic pollution, restoring fish and wildlife habitats, fighting invasive species and cutting back on the runoff from farms and the cities surrounding the lakes. This amount restores the funds that were slashed during the sequester cuts. That is good news for Cleveland residents who enjoy spending time on the lakes. It might also get you thinking about your own cleanup project. Clearly, you wouldn’t need $300 million to clean your home. With that kind of cash, you could tear it down and build it from scratch. Fortunately, it doesn’t take much to clear out the rubbish from your home. All you need to do is call Junk King of East Ohio.
