Meet the Owner of Junk King Tallahassee

Kelly Miller wanted to get in on the ground floor of a promising franchise when he joined Junk King in April 2011. Kelly immediately hit it off with the two founders of Junk King and has since tried to combine professionalism and problem solving in every single job, no matter the size of the haul. “It really doesn’t matter if it is a single item $38 job or a $380,000 job, the approach is still the same. You have to attack it. Control what you can and the rest will take care of itself. When we have finished the job, the customers will be left with a clean garage, house, office, or store and a huge burden will be relieved.” One of the first junk hauls that Kelly Miller and his team was asked to do was memorable, to say the least: 35 truckloads of junk at 18 cubic feet per load. Kelly remembers it like this: “you had glass, tons of glass … old appliances, books, magazines … there was almost ten tons of sheet glass there alone.” At that time Kelly only had one other employee working alongside him, but he found a way to get it done. “I’ll figure out a way to do it,” no matter what kind of challenge comes his way, says Kelly. Today, Kelly reports that he has “a very seasoned staff” and that “they have been with me for a while now.”
