Upon meeting the store managers of this particular department store, Jimmy began preparing his team for the upcoming clean out: “It definitely takes [a bit of effort to work these jobs]. You know, you have to make sure all the crews are lined up and make sure you have all the right equipment…I went earlier in the week and met with the manager prior to even doing the job so we [could build] a little bit of a relationship.” 

His father, Harry also offered up some insight into this removal as well as others that they’ve done:

“We knew what we needed to bring because [of Jimmy’s meeting. This turned out to be important] because there were safes and cabinets involved…every time we do a preliminary visit to the stores, we are getting prepared to make sure we are bringing all the right tools and equipment and the right number of [haulers, too].”

Only four hours after their arrival, the Van Buren team of removers had completed the work. They loaded and removed six trucks worth of cabinets and fixtures from the department store. Such a quick turnaround wouldn’t have been possible without those early meetings that were conducted by Jimmy. It was at those that Jimmy was able to accurately estimate the amount of removal power and trucks needed to finish the removal entirely. Harry and I were over seeing, as well as helping [clean and move] too.
