Meet the Owner of Junk King Middlesex

Owner and Wife Amy at Tyngsboro Zero Waste Day. Scott opened Junk King in 2010 after a career in campus law enforcement. An avid recycler, Scott thought that he would take that passion and easily turn it into a career. Scott was wrong. it was not easy. Building an organization capable or recycling, imparting the knowledge and processes of diverting waste would take a decade to really get built. Finding the right places to recycle and donate, throughout the territory and fitting it into a customer centered schedule was the hardest thing to accomplish. but, over those years, the partnerships and employee education made it possible. Junk King Middlesex truly does sort and recycle. We are able to divert as much as 60% from the landfill, some gets shipped overseas to people who need it, some gets recycled, and some is donated locally. We do what we can to close the waste loop, and are always looking to learn more about how to better our processes. Servicing Pepperell, to Haverhill, and Amesbury, and down to Billerica and Burlington, Junk King Middlesex is here to do our best to divert your items from the landfills.
