This past April, Junk King Reno turned Earth Day into Earth Month through a meaningful partnership with the Katie Grace Foundation.
The Katie Grace Foundation, a Reno-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals and families through donation programs, resource distribution, and community-driven sustainability initiatives, partnered with Junk King Reno to host a month-long donation event throughout April. Every Wednesday, community members stopped by the Katie Grace Foundation headquarters to donate items that could be reused, repurposed, or responsibly handled instead of ending up in local landfills.
The event was a tremendous success, giving local residents an easy and impactful way to participate in sustainability efforts while also supporting families in need throughout the community. The partnership also highlighted Junk King Reno’s ongoing commitment to keeping usable items out of the landfill and putting them back into the hands of people who can benefit from them most.
Junk King Reno extends a heartfelt thank you to the Katie Grace Foundation and everyone who participated in the donation event. Community support made this initiative possible and helped create a positive impact for both local families and the environment.
