Beginning back in October of 2010 the Department of Planning and Public Works which is a Division of Integrated Waste Management hosted a free tire recycling event. This was funded by a grant provided by the department a resources recycling and recovery. Heavy equipment tires were tires with a diameter greater than 60 inches or stacks of tires would not be accepted. And there are be no business waste tires allowed to be dropped off.
