Meet the Owner
When asked why she became a Junk King franchisee, Renee Ferguson replied, I liked the business model and Junk King is a green company trying to make a positive impact on the environment and in people’s lives.” Renee likes to help people and she feels lucky to be able to intertwine what she does in her personal life with her work life. She adds, “it is all about making the world a better place for others one step at a time. The greatest satisfaction is helping others succeed whether they are cleaning out their home of 40 years or downsizing their office. Junk King is there to be the solution for the customer to be successful at their endeavor.”
Renee opened her doors of Junk King Dallas in August of 2012. Her big red junk hauling trucks services Dallas, Garland, Highland Park, Mesquite, Plano, Richardson, Rockwall, Rowlett, Sunnyvale, and Wylie. She calls her business a solutions company. She says, “we help solve customers problems. The most consistent problem is dealing with years of accumulation of stuff when the client has been in a home for a long period.” On the commercial side of the business, office property managers call Junk King Dallas for help in removing broken furniture or debris prior to or after a move. Renee’s teams help these clients remove the unwanted items and clear the clutter. She states, “we do all the work to box, bag, lift, and load anything and everything except hazardous materials.” Big items that are easily loaded into the big red truck are appliances, furniture, mattresses, televisions, refrigerators/freezers, e-waste, hot tubs, yard waste, and construction debris.
