Armen Kholamian is the owner of Junk King Seattle as well as Junk King North Chicago. A graduate of Northwestern University with a degree in Industrial Engineering, Armen began his career as a commodities trader. As that career began to wind down, Armen began looking for franchise opportunities that fell into his area of interests. He had always been interested in recycling, salvage, and re-purposing of things. In his research, he came across Junk King. He was impressed with their business model and their commitment to a green business structure. Armen said, I jumped in with both and have never regretted it or looked back. Armen goes on to say, At first blush, one might think my degree in industrial engineering doesn’t come into play much in the Seattle junk removal business, but the things I learned at Northwestern University and the way I was taught to think come into play all the time. When someone has something to get rid of and doesn’t know where to start, I enjoy not only explaining how our service can help them but I can give them insight on other things they can do to reach their goal.
