Los Angeles Lakers guard Nick Young is happy to make going back to school a very special event. For his third annual back-to-school party, Nick gathered some lucky kids at Robertson Park for a special day of giveaways and BBQ
“This is where it all started from, right here at Robertson Park,” Young said to a local paper. “It’s where I grew up playing. I have history here. This is my neighborhood.” The basketball pro not only donated school supplies and sneakers, he took time out for a little two-on-two fun with the kids. There was also a raffle for laptops, iPads and autograph sports stuff. This is one group of returning students going back to school with a smile.
