Full House Cleanouts

Most Full house Cleanouts are part of the process of living in a house and one of the many great services we perform at Junk King Atlanta. Recently we have had some very cold weather and have performed many jobs where pipes have burst and destroyed carpet and furniture that required being removed and hauled away.
We recently worked with an Insurance company where pipes burst in a hoaders house to make the house inhabitable again. It was required for us to wear Bio Hazard suits and work to the adjusters schedule to remove about 80 cubic yards of papers, books, clothing, trash, damaged furniture , carpet, mattresses, old tube TVs, e-waste and many other items.
I personally know that being an adjuster is a very tough job and can be very stressful particularly when so many claims were being filed for water damage in a short period. In this case our job was to make the adjusters job easier and make him look good in front of his clients. He was extremely complementary about our speed and the quality of our work. We were able to have all the items removed in one (1) long day.
If you need to get a house ready to put on the market or just want to reclaim some space in your house, part of the process will be removing and disposing of some clutter. That’s real life. Junk King’s mission is to make the complicated task of sorting debris, loading trucks, and proper disposal painless for you. We like to say the heaviest thing you need to lift is your telephone we will do all the work. Please call 1-888-888-5865 to schedule an appointment or go to www.junk-king.com to book on line.

Atlanta Refrigerator Disposal

There’s a company in Atlanta that operates a “free” appliance recycling drop-off facility. What’s free is the ability for you to drop off your washers, dryers, stoves, refrigerators and freezers. If you are dropping off dishwashers, microwaves, hot water heaters, lawnmowers or other metal grills you have to pay five dollars per appliance. If you are dropping off water coolers or air conditioners you have to pay $10 per appliance.

The business hours for drop-offs a Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 4:30 PM. On the surface this might seem like a pretty good deal but there is no mention of exactly how you’re supposed to get those items over to this facility. This calls into question the idea of “free” recycling. Would you have to rent some sort of U-Haul truck or van to carry out this mission? You might also have to hire some additional help. Because the center is only open during the week you’ll have to sacrifice work hours to get this job done. It’s easy to see how this “free service” could become a very costly affair. There is a better way.

That better way would be hiring professional junk haulers like Junk King Atlanta to take care of your personal junk removal. You don’t have to worry about whether or not your appliances will be recycled properly because they will. Junk King Atlanta prides themselves on being able to go green which means they are well versed in the proper recycle and disposal programs located throughout the Atlanta area.

You can also maximize the use of this junk hauling crew by turning the removal of your old refrigerator into a total junk removal for your entire home. This would be the perfect occasion to rid of some other bulky items you have been hanging onto for no good reason. This could be old furniture, mattresses, auto parts or anything else that’s taking up valuable space around your home. The professional junk haulers don’t care what you ask them to take away; they are happy filling up their truck anyway they can.

Of course, if you’re getting rid of your old refrigerator that means you’ll be replacing it with a newer model. This will give you the opportunity to purchase a more energy-efficient type of refrigerator that will help reduce your monthly electric bills. There might also be an opportunity to receive a rebate for turning in your old refrigerator. When you upgrade consider adding some special features that you’ve gone without such as an ice dispenser or special chilled containers. Your new refrigerator should last you anywhere between 5 to 8 years so spending a couple extra dollars now will be paid back in the long run over the course of time. If you time it right the same day that you schedule Junk King Atlanta to remove your old refrigerator and other items will be the same day that the new refrigerator shows up. This brings a whole new meaning to the phrase “out with the old in with the new!”
